e.l.f. Cosmetics

So a few weeks ago I decided to go out and get some new foundation and powder. Probably something you all should know is that even with my love for makeup this is the one thing that I am always hesitant at doing. I'm always afraid  I'm going to find something that my skin does not like. Why do I say skin you might ask? Well I tend to break out very easily with the wrong kinds of foundation. I've had problems with this for some time now, so of course before I go out and buy I do my research. With that being said I am also on a little bit of a money crunch and trying to look for the best product possible for the dollar. After much deliberation and a whole lot of research I finally decided to take my butt to Target and purchase the e.l.f. Flawless Finish Foundation and the e.l.f  Translucent Matifying Powder. Now of course I love e.l.f. Not only do they have amazing products but they are also super affordable. I was a little hesitant about this, seeing as how I paid the same amount for both of these products as I would have paid for lets say...a Maybelline foundation. After a weeks of use I was very shocked and very pleased. First off, I did not break out at all from this foundation. In fact my skin got better and started clearing up a bit. Before this foundation I had purchased a product from Sally's that I completely fell in love with. After the change of seasons however, my skin started freaking out. This foundation, in my opinion, offers what I want for full coverage. Not cakey at all and still covers what you need, not to mention a little bit goes a long way on a moisturized face. ( I will go into my moisturizer in a different post) Moving on to the Matifying Powder. I was completely amazed when I put this on top of my e.l.f foundation and saw that it was pretty close to what my face would look like had I used my airbrush system for foundation. I was completely amazed and in awe. It's super light and none of the products wore off as quickly as most of the other products I have used by the end of the day. I still have yet to go through a day at work and reapply my foundation and powder. I'm super happy with these two products, not only is the quality amazing but the price is completely astonishing. My only complaint, I wish there was more product in the powder. I hope this answers any questions that you may have had about the products and I highly encourage you to go out and try them for yourselves.

Notoriously Morbid Cosmetics

Here I am today doing a review on Notoriously Morbid. What can I say about this company you might ask? Well, it is much more than I had expected. The colors are bright and beautiful even without primer, and they last all day. I had even slept in them the first time I tried the shadows ( I know...big no no, but I did it anyway :P ) and they stayed on through morning. The colors are very smooth, even the ones that hold sparkle. I am especially super impressed with the darker more morbid colors, if you might add. I was expecting them to go dull and blackish after blending like some companies but they held true and impressed me. One of my favorite colors is Mint to Die For. I am obsessed with the light delicate minty color and have had yet to find one that I really liked until this beauty arrived in the mail. I've done a few looks with it so far and I still get that ohhh ahhh every time I apply it. If you have not yet tried this company you are missing out!! I have nothing bad to say about them except that I need more colors lol. Also if you haven't tried them, I will be having a give away once I hit 2000 fans on my Facebook page and the winning prize will include some awesome colors from Notoriously Morbid including a color especially made for the giveaway. Regina

So this is my first look of the collection. (Might do another one of the same character a little later) Had a lot of fun with this one. Though the lips are a bit messy because I was getting a bit impatient with the fact my camera didn't want to cooperate with me today :/  I used Beauty From The Earth Cosmetics in Spellbound and Livid and then I used Georgia Peach for a highlighter on the cheeks. Other products used are the white in the Sleek IDivine Acid palette, ME liner, the red in Lime Crime's Chinadoll palette along with their Candy Apply gloss for the lips. To top it off Milani was used as the undertone on the cheeks and Too Faced Lashgasm mascara was used on the lashes along with a pair of Ardell #117 falsies.

So I have decided!! I will be doing a collection of looks based off of one of my favorite tv shows Once Upon a Time :) Eeeee I'm super excited about this one :D

Eye Kandy Cosmetics

I've recently had the pleasure of trying out this amazing cosmetic line for the first time. I am completely in love. I was a little skeptical at first because the cosmetic glitters I have used in the past always irritated my eyes. Eye Kandy doesn't do that with the help of their Liquid Sugar. I've never had any irritation even if, and when I have some fall out. I don'teven notice that I am wearing any type of glitter on my eye even after a full days wear. The colors are very bright and beautiful as you will see in the pictures shown below. I only have a handful of colors so far and I'm itching to get my hands on the rest!

Top from left to right: Hard Candy, Licorice Stick
Middle from left to right: Spearmint, Tiny Tart, Confetti, Pixie Stick
Bottom from left to right: Sour Grape, Candy Coin, Sugar Cane, Shock Tart

This is a look I did today using Tiny Tart on my inner corner and Spearmint on my middle lid. Other products pictured are BFTE cosmetics, Revlon, and Clinique which I will be making separate blogs for :)

I did this look using Pixie Stick. Other products shown are Sleek Cosmetics and Lime Crime.

Look using Candy Coin, other products shown are Sleek Cosmetics, BFTE, and Fyrinnae

In this New Years look I used Sugar Cane along with Lime Crime, BFTE, PLT and Urban Decay

Using Confetti I created another Inspiring New Years look along with BFTE and BH Cosmetics.

I highly recommend this company to anyone that loves sparkle. The owner is super sweet and the customer service and shipping times are excellent. Please check them out if you get a chance! You won't regret it!
